From first call to launch.

Four steps, and you only ever need to be available for two of them. Here is what each one asks of you, and what you get back.

  1. Step 01: First call

About 30 minutes, and the only homework is turning up.

A short call about your business, what the site needs to do, and who it's for. No charge, no obligation.

Call or email — your choice

Some people think better in writing. If you would rather send answers than talk through them, that works just as well.

    Nothing to prepare

A Facebook page, an old site or a printed menu is plenty to start from. I'll tell you what's missing.

    A fixed quote follows

You get the scope and the price in writing before anything begins, so there is no running meter.

  2. Step 02: Design

You see the site before a single page is built.

A layout and look built around your actual content, shown to you before a single page gets built.

    Your words, not filler

The layout is drawn around your real headings and photos, so what you approve is what you get.

    Phone layout first

Most local searches happen on a phone, so the small screen is designed properly rather than shrunk down.

    Changes are expected

This is the cheapest point to move things, and the stage where your feedback counts for the most.

  3. Step 03: Build

    Hand-written pages, no page-builder bloat.

Hand-built pages, fast-loading, tested across real devices and every current browser.

    Built for speed

Pages load quickly on mobile data, which is what visitors and Google both reward.

    Findable from day one

Page titles, descriptions and link previews are set up as the pages are written, not bolted on later.

    Tested on real devices

Every current browser and a range of real screen sizes, not just one window on one laptop.

  4. Step 04: Launch

Usually a single evening, with nothing left dangling.

Domain and hosting connected, HTTPS enabled, old links redirected, and a short handover guide.

    Old links keep working

If you already have a site, its addresses redirect to the new pages so search results and printed links still land.

    Everything in your name

The domain, the hosting account and the files are yours, not held in an agency account.

    A guide for the everyday

Text, prices, hours and photos can be changed without touching code, and the handover walks you through it.

Start your website.

Tell me about your business, what the site needs to do, and which package looks closest. You’ll get a fixed quote back before any work begins.

  • A fixed price, first

Quoted in writing from $750 before any work starts, so there is no running meter.

  • Live in about a week

Most five-page sites go live a week after I have your content. Larger builds scale from there.

  • Yours at handover

You keep the domain, the hosting account and the files, plus a guide for everyday edits.
